I met Mark through Sam Kelly. Sam, Sherry, Lee and myself had many great times at Georgia Southern with Mark. He was always entertaining us with his crazy ways. He showed us all about River Street, and anytime I hear Savannah I think about our good times. He will be missed!!!
- Lisa Reed Jenkins, Loganville, GA

I met Mark for the first time when we had classes together in college at Hunter AAF, GA. His genuine concern for others was very evident as he would help others in class and did not hesitate to help when the need arose while serving his country. Mark was not only a great 'comrade-in-arms', but also someone you could really enjoy having a conversation with. Mark was a true gentleman! His legacy will live on in the memories of all who knew him and appreciated him. He will be truly missed. 1 Cor.16:13-14 “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.â€
